9:16 am - Dedication
Derek was sick yesterday. Well, he's had a cough for a couple days because of a "tickle" in his throat. Well yesterday he had a temp of 99.8 and we had to cart around my dad while he ran errands while his car was getting an oil change (no appointment mad,e of course). We even went to the mall where he sat and waited for me to shop for two pair of shoes at Payless (B1G1 50%). That's dedication. He just complained of being a bit cold but he was hot, too, so he was running a fever. When we got home he was 100.3 before we went to the grocery store to pick up OUR stuff. Well he took children's ibruprofen (can't take pills) and the fever went down and his achiness went away so we went to play BINGO. Good thing we did, he won $100 on the 13-jar! So we paid for our trip to BINGO last night and he has the $60 to pay off his video game. He's feeling pretty good now, too. Hopefully it was the "24-hour bug" and he's better. I would hate to find out he had the flu or something. But he'd still feel like crap, right? We'll see.  French toast for breakfast today, then more running around. yay. -_- I hope I find white heels at Goodwill, that's the last place i've yet to look and I wanna stop today. *sigh* stupid winter and big feet.  Ciao.

7:26 pm - Awwww and Huh?
First the Awwww:

When I met Derek, he only ate corn, lima beans, and peas for veggies, and apples, bananas, and canteloupes for fruits.  I now have gotten him to try and eat green beans, carrots, and broccoli! :D Yay!!! I hope our kids eat veggies. Oh, and he tried kiwi but didn't like it. *shrug* more for me.

****

Next the Huh?:

I was driving home yesterday behind a Prius. Someone driving a Prius wants to save the planet and the environment and whatnot right? Well, apparently this one's just concerned with gas milage..... as he threw his cigarette butt out the window LIT! *headdesk* idiot.

*****

Oh, and another Huh?.... I feel like Boomshiggy..... stupid Miley Cyrus.  We were watching Biggest Loser last night and I heard a song I kinda liked... Apparently "The Climb" is by Miley Cyrus, which sucks. Lol, it just sucks, trust me.  Time for me to go, watching Jay Leno from last night.  Ciao.

7:06 am - What a Headache
So my CD-ROM drives stopped working... and my SD card reader. I got fed up with it all. Between that and cookies not being held on secure sites, it was time for a new computer. Well.... we saved $400 and did a total system recovery on this one. What a headache. I'm still doing updates, and we were up til almost 1am doing them last night. It's so hard getting everything set back up the way I had it. But my computer is *slightly* faster than it was and the CD-ROM drives work. That's what I was going for, so we'll see if we can keep it this way.  Figured I'd share the terribleness that plagued me all day yesterday. Of course we started the recovery at like 11am and I'm now finished transferring everything back on here, reloading programs, and doing updates (til I go to the update website again lol) so that's not bad.... Oh well, hopefully I won't have to do it again.  Ciao.

9:17 am - "Drag Me to Hell" = Comedy?

Lol, I know what you're thinking with that one, but seriously, have you seen it?  I'm hoping that Jason has and can agree with me on this one.  We watched Drag Me to Hell last night and it was more comical than horrific. I mean the effects were awesome (thank you Mr. Raimi!) and the Lamia thing was really neat.  Some of the parts made my skin crawl, but most of it was the "jumpy" scary. Like BOO! And I don't like those because they aren't SCARY they are just startling.  I think I might have actually jumped a teeny bit ONCE.... other than that Derek and I were laughing at everything.  Oh, 'cept the kitty... poor kitty. We knew it was going to happen though, I mean, seen one movie, seen 'em all.  But anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else saw it and thought the same thing.  Ciao.

Bourne Trilogy (Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum)
GATTACA
Silent Hill
Blade Trilogy (1, 2, and Trinity)

Everything included, shipping and such, it came out to $256 and some change, but we had $8 left over from another survey site g/c and that covered everything. :D  Though i'd let y'all know.  Ciao.

7:29 pm - HOLEY SHITE!

Derek and I are members of SurveySpot.com.  It is a great site, let me know if you want a referral.  About a year and a half ago, I won a $100 gift card to Nike.  In between we've cashed out a lot of checks for that site as rewards for taking surveys.  Well, a few weeks ago, I was the "possible winner of an electronics prize" or something of that nature.  They had me fill in my personal info and said that I could choose PayPal or an Amazon.com gift certificate.  I chose Amazon since we get our movies from there, and if it was only like $25 or $50 (like Derek and I thought), or even $100 like the Nike one, it would be a nice chunk to get movies with.

Got my email tonight with my claim code..... )

Isn't that awesome?!?!  Just thought I'd share.  Ciao.

7:04 am - Quite A Scare
We had quite a scare last night.  My sisters were with us for their birthday outing, and Derek's phone lit up while we were watching a movie.  He had a new voicemail from his grandfather.  So as he's rushing to get his shoes on, telling us to get ready to go, and listening to his phone, my phone rings.  It's his grandfather.  He says he hurt himself, and please come down (half hour away).  We say sure, we'll be there as quick as we can.  Well, except for some slow drivers that held us up, we made it in about 20 mins... -_- lol.  We get there and Derek's worried sick, we find out he's got a lump on his shoulder.  Apparently he rolled the ATV.  A 75 year-old man rolled his ATV, picked himself up, and rode the thing home.... then waited 2 hours to call us. *lol* He's a tough old bird.  So they decide instead of waiting for the doctor to call, we'll just go to the ER.  They took him back for x-rays and a CAT-scan, come to find out he broke his collar bone.  Clean in half.  Anothe break on his upper arm, but we can't figure out which one that is.  So he's got pain meds and a shoulder sling, gonna take 6 weeks to heal.  Poor fella.  He's not used to being "helpless", but he has had surgery on both his shoulders and knees, so he's kinda used to it.  Deer season will be just about starting when he's all healed up, so that's good. XD  Anyway, thought I'd share that.  We got to the hospital about 9am and left a lil before midnight.  Not too awful bad for CCGen (aka: Chopshop).  Derek's still in bed, we didn't get to sleep until about 1am and he can't get up at 5 to go into work, so he's taking half a day, and I'm going in on time. Lol.  I better get moving if I want that to happen. Ciao.

I'm not a part of Myspace, but Derek is, and he sent me this trailer for the new 'Nightmare on Elm St'.... Haley doesn't look like himself, and the makeup is WAY different. Also, it sounds like he's got something in his mouth, but I think it might MIGHT be ok... lol, I'm willing to give it a shot.

9:42 am - House Project

Derek and I completed our most recent house project last night. Please take a look at the photos below (only 19) and you can see the transformation! Derek did a very nice job, and I'm proud of him and our new steps. The old ones were... well... old and cracked, and they didn't have risers so they weren't very sturdy. I didn't feel safe walking down with a bucket full of salt, so we knew we'd have to replace them. He did all the work with scraps and trash from work, and made the pieces over his lunch and breaks. We even signed them and dated them so everyone would know when they were installed and by whom. :)  Let me know what you think!

FallFest is going on in Westminster today, so we'll go to the gym and hit that since it's right behind the gym. I wanna try fried sweet potatoes (like french fries) but i wanna TRY them, not have a whole order, so I'm not sure if that will be possible. Also, COTTON CANDY!!! W00T!!!  Okay, gonna go finish dailies and get ready to go.  Ciao.

What the hell kind of question is this?

On a related note... apparently I won an Amazon gift certificate this morning, too... we'll see. Last time I won a g/c was for Nike and was a pain in the ass to spend. Hopefully this one is better, heh.  Ciao.

9:20 am - The Good, the Bad, and the SWEET!
The good: I got free apples from the neighbor next door. In a sober moment, he gave me a half-dozen honeygold apples and 4 honeycrisps.  the HC are a bit tart, and he said the HG are too, but I'm going to make apple crisp today, and they'll be good for that.  Here's a picture so you can see, they are fresh off the tree:

That little metal circle is a quarter, so you can get size comparison. :)

The bad: my hives came back... this morning. I think coz I didn't take my medicine until an hour later than I normally do. But as soon as I did, they backed off. Derek said he read that some people have to take a daily dose of Claritin because they have them, too. Damn I wish i could figure out what's bringing them on. But I started my pill regimine on the 17th, and Jason said within 24hrs they'd clear up (hopefully), so that was the end of yesterday/this morning. We'll see how it goes.  Today is my third 3-pill day, then I start on 2 pills for 3 days and then 1 pill for three days. HOPEFULLY they go away for good.... I don't need to take SEVEN pills every morning (C, fiber, K, Folic Acid, fish oil all currently, plus the two pills for the hives right now are 8 pills, so seven would be minus the steroid i'm on and just taking an allergy med).  Wish me luck...  Oh, another bad for today... I have to get my pupils dialated so the Dr can see if my pigment spot is getting bigger/smaller. I'm checking on the paper he gave me and it's not moving at least. But having a "blind spot" sucks.

The SWEET:

*does a dance* oohwa oohwa!! Now if only the other stocks I have multiple thousands of hit 60+....

Gotta go finish Neo dailies.  Ciao.

10:25 am - Horse Named Trapper
So in the epic adventures of last night's subconsious, there was a horse named "Trapper"... a small Thoroughbred. It kinda started out with this lady coveting an old peacock feather that had been made into a peice of art by her deformed daughter. The girl couldn't walk or something, she was just messed up. Well, this guy came along and said "what if you could go back in time and change what happened?" (kind of, not exact words) and then the dream went back to the day the daughter became crippled. There was the horse and she wanted to ride him. He was too tall for her, and something distracted her away from him for a minute. Then she came back and started petting the horse and asked him if she could ride him. He shook his head yes and she climbed onto the fence railing. But then something else happened which made her jump off the fence and run elsewhere. The horse became upset because apparently he wanted a rider, and he started running around madly. Some confusion in my dream, and then Trapper ran down an embankment and another horse was biting his ankles. Soon he was limping without his one back leg. Then there was a white cloth over his face and he was blind. He tried to crawl his way into the barn just by "feel" and eventually made it. The little girl came back and was sad because they had to put Trapper down. So she made the peacock feather thing anyway and the mother hung it up on a mobile above her bed (where it was at the beginning of the dream). Apparently Trapper had fallen and rolled over the girl and crippled her that way, but now the horse died and the girl was all better. Weird.

On another note... no Hershey Park today, we're going to try for tomorrow.  Wish us luck!  Ciao.

7:06 am - Headache
I've had this lingering headache for a while now... at least two days. I thought maybe it was stress from work, but the phones have stopped ringing so it's not that. Maybe I was dehydrated so I made sure to drink a lot of fluids. Then I thought it was lack of sugar or something (no I'm not diabetic) so I remembered to give myself time to eat. Still didnt' help. I was "awake" (more like semi-conscious) the whole night with this damned headache. It's a pressure that started behind my right eye and has moved to the backside (right) and it's just awful. It's worse if I bend my neck at like almost a 90 degree angle... or if I bend over (like tie my shoe or something). I took AdvilPM 2 nights ago to try and stop it and I guess it helped... then I thought last night it could be allergies (with the weather we're having) but I don't have any allergies that I know of. I took a 24-hr allergy pill last night before bed and was up with the damned headache.  So this morning I popped two migraine (that's the dosage) pills and that's the first thing that's helped. I don't have the pain unless I bend my head (or bend over and put pressure on my head).  Any ideas??? Gotta go eat now.  Ciao.

11:12 am - Pregnant Vampires and Stupid People
I'm going to start with the stupid people part and then I'll put the part about the vampires in a cut... it's prolly gonna be long. **EDIT** I realized how long it go to be and put the whole thing under two cuts to separate incase you aren't interested in one or the other.

Derek was snoring really loudly last night so I ended up putting the earplugs in. Which was good since we woke up to the neighbor working on some project next door that involved a saw and hammering. What a jackass. Probably drunk again. *rolls eyes* Well today we are busy busy! Going to a "housewarming" party for a friend of Derek's, then to the MD State Fair (Daddy's a security guard again). But I'm going to go take my hair out of this towel and then make lunch coz I'm HUNGRY! Ciao.

6:40 am - Holey Moley
Nah, j/k... Some kinda icky parts in here, skip if you wanna..... did I mention on here that I had two moles removed? Well, three if you count the one from back in June... The one on the back of my neck (stalk-like with a ball) was nice and easy and healed real quick. The other two I got off Aug 18th (my sisters' bday), the one at the base of my neck and one at the base of my shoulder blade.  The ones on my neck (back of) I got off because necklaces and shirt tags kept getting caught on them. The one on my shoulder blade--bra straps.  The reason I bring this up now is because the two scabs on my back came off this morning (rescabs actually) and I can touch the "wounds" and they are dry.  So that's good because that means they are really healing good. And they should be, it's been 2 weeks and they weren't bad at all. Yes I pulled of the last scabs because they were huge and hard and getting caught on stuff like the moles did.  Derek's putting vitamin E lotion on them to try and minimize scars but I'm happy the moles are gone. *lol*  Well, enough about my personal health, I just thought I'd share XD  Ciao.

7:13 pm - I Didn't Want Another Blasting
Yeah remember that "blast from the past" yesterday with Angie? Well, tonight I got on Yahoo! Messenger and had an IM from Andrew. Yeah, ex-boyfriend-before-Derek Andrew.  Weird.  Just out of the blue, too.... I wonder if Daddy is still talking to him on FB. *shrug* all it said was "hello?" so I'm sure he's not even interested in sparking conversation again, although it'd be interesting to find out what piqued his interest in contacting me.  That's all.

Derek's at tax-school. He's taking a class through HR Block so he can prepare taxes at my grandmother's CPA firm.  He got a break and texted me and told me that he prolly won't go back because they only train HR Block employees, not to go work for someone else. My grandmother told him to sign up for the class, though, so I told him to call her tomorrow and talk to her about it.  I'm gonna go take more surveys now while I have time to catch up.  Ciao.
